La Caida De Las Flores De Cerezo…

This one is called “Falling cherry blossoms” but I translated it into Spanish for poetic effect. I hope you like it.

The heart wants what it wants & we feel how we feel. For all of our hoping, we know what a dream is & what’s real.
Our emotions they betray… eating us away. Reaching & yearning when instead we should just walk away.

We try & we fail. We bend & we break. We can say forever, then forever we forsake. A whisper in the wind, like the whisper of a voice. The memories fade, if you make that choice.
So many things that we say… are just like bullets we spray. Without intention we slay, then in a panic run away. Love is so fleeting… It can leave you dead & bleeding

We try & we fail. We bend & we break. We can say forever then forever we forsake. A whisper in the wind like the whisper of a voice. The memories fade, if we just make that choice.
The memories, memories, play over & over like echoing. Maybes, whys & if only’s, torture ourselves with melodies.
The heart wants what the heart wants but the mind wants what others have. We don’t see what is clear to see, instead we fight & end up sad.
We laugh & we dream while we cry & we scream. Torn hearts left bleeding but the hearts keep on beating.
The memories, memories. All we have are the memories. Dragged to the shed… Shot in the head.

We try & we fail. We bend & we break. We can say forever then forever we forsake. A whisper in the wind, like a whisper of a voice. The memories stay, coz we don’t have a choice.
The heart wants what it wants. What it wants is to dance. Two hearts in a trance, till the music it stops.
Then one is left wanting while the other heart, disappears…
